T-Pain,
a hot new R&B artist who recently won an MTV VMA for "Monster single of
the year", has an interesting background. T-Pain, born Faheem Najm in
Tallahassee Florida in 1985, is a
Muslim American artist with experience in both recording and producing. T-Pain's big break came in 2005 when
Akon signed T-Pain to his label following T-Pain's
great success re-working Akon's hit single "Locked Up". Supposedly, T-Pain's musical talents are less than
perfect. Some rumors indicate that much of T-Pain's singing has been digitally altered to make him sound on
